Roxby’s Fallen
The Roll of Honour in St. Mary’s Church in Roxby commemorates ten men who died for their country in the Great War. The following information about these warriors has been supplied by Colin Woods with help from Charles Webster. In some cases their connections with Roxby are not always clear but we must assume that they had a connection with the Parish which was clear at the time.
The clock on the church tower is Roxby’s War Memorial and was purchased by public subscription in 1921.
